Sikkim is the 22nd state of India came into existence with effect from 26th April, 1975. Sikkim has been divided into four districts and each district has further been bifurcated into two sub-divisions for administrative purpose. Sikkim state being a part of inner mountain ranges of Himalayas, is hilly having varied elevation ranging from 300 to 8540 meters. But the habitable areas are only up to the altitude of 2100 mtrs. Constituting only 20% of the total area of the state. The highest portion of sikkim lies in its north west direction. A large number of mountains having altitudes of about seven thousand meters stands here with – Kanchenjunga (8598 m.), The third highest peak in the world. The high serrated, snow capped spurs and peaks of Kanchenjunga look attractive consisting of Kumbha Karna (7711 m.), Pendem (6706 m.), Narsingh (5825 m.), Kabru Dome (6545 m.), etc. A number of glaciers descends from eastern slopes of Kanchenjunga into Sikkim where snow clad line is found above 5300 mtrs. The biggest of them is Zemu, from whose snout above Lachen monastery rises the river Teesta. Teesta is the main river and its main tributaries are Zemu, Lachung, Rangyong, Dikchu, Rongli, Rangpo and Rangit which form the main channel of drainage from the north to the south. It boasts of the great mount Kanchendzonga as its crown. Ethically Sikkim has mainly three groups of people viz. Nepalis, Bhutias, Lepchas. The local language is Nepali. English is the official language. This jewel- like mountain state of ethereal beauty with an area of 7299 sq. kms , nestles in the heart of Himalayas. Cradled in the manifold splendors of nature deep within the snow clad Himalayas is Sikkim’s capital Gangtok. Wrapped in mists and clouds, a garden state with an incredible variety of rhododendrons & a host of other flowers

DAY 01 : DELHI - DARJEELING

With heartiest wills you arrive at IGI Airport in Delhi . On arrival, meet the representative will transfer you Darjeeling by air-conditioned as well as luxury car. Arrival at Darjeeling & proceed to check in the hotel, rest, relax and at leisure visit the sightseeing places. The sightseeing will include Mirik by way of Jorepokhri, pashupati market Nepal border. Overnight will be at hotel in Darjeeling.

DAY 02 : DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast, your journey starts for Trigger hill to behold the spectacular sunrise and its wonderful effects on the Mt. Kanchendzonga it has 3rd position in the highest hills. Perambulate Ghoom Monastery and Natasha Loop War Memorial while driving back to the hotel. After lunch see the local sightseeing covering Padmajan, Zoological Garden, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Center and visit to the all and Local Market. Enjoy the Historical Toy joy ride offered the train is running for the day. Overnight will be at hotel in Darjeeling.

DAY 03 : DARJEELING - GANGTOK

After spending two more nights in Darjeeling and at break of the day you drive 114 km to reach Gangtok, en route you have the opportunity of viewing Teesta white water rafting from Tarkhola close to Teesta River it is a great adventure. Evening time is at leisure and night stay in Gangtok.

DAY 04 : GANGTOK SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast, you start to visit the entire sightseeing of the city in whole day. You cover Chortan, Stupa, Institute of Tibetology Institute of Handicraft and handlooms & Roomtek Monastery. Night stay will be at hotel in Gangtok.

DAY 05 : GANGTOK – TSHONGU LAKE - GANGTOK

Having delicious breakfast, transfer to behalf Tshongu Lake ((a holy lake) and Babamandir for half day, it is 32 km far from Gangtok. Evening is at leisure for shopping. Overnight will be at hotel in Gangtok.

DAY 06 : GANGTOK - DELHI

Early morning, drive back to Delhi from Gangtok with the cherished experience of Darjeeling and Gangtok. On arrival Delhi, proceed to international airport to catch the flight for onward journey.
