SRINAGAR : is the largest city and the summer capital of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It lies on the banks of the Jhelum River, a tributary of the Indus, and Dal and Anchar lakes. The city is famous for its gardens, waterfronts and houseboats. It is also known for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts and dried fruits.

KARGIL: is a city in the Kargil district of Ladakh, in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is the second largest town in Ladakh after Leh. It is located 60 km and 204 km from Drass and Srinagar to the west respectively, 234 km from Leh to the east, 240 km from Padum to the southeast and 1,047 km from Delhi to the south.

LEH: was the capital of the Himalayan kingdom of Ladakh, now the Leh district in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. Leh district, with an area of 45,110 km2, is the second largest district in the country, after Kutch, Gujarat (in terms of area). The town is dominated by the ruined Leh Palace, the former mansion of the royal family of Ladakh, built in the same style and about the same time as the Potala Palace-the chief residence of the Dalai Lama until the 14th Dalai Lama fled to Dharamsala, India, during the 1959 Tibetan uprising. Leh is at an altitude of 3524 metres (11,562 ft), and connects via National Highway 1D to Srinagar in the southwest and to Manali in the south via the Leh-Manali Highway.

DAY 01: SRINAGAR ARRIVAL

Meet our representative at Srinagar airport and drive to hotel. After check in visit the famous Mughal Gardens. Enjoy Shikara ride on the picturesque Dal Lake. Evening return back to the hotel of overnight stay.

DAY 02: SRINAGAR - KARGIL

Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Kargil via Sonamarg. Stop at Sonamarg and have your lunch at a local restaurant. After further drive to Kargil over the Zojila pass. ( which remains close from October till ending April. On arrival in Kargil, check inn hotel for overnight. Evening free to explore local market.

Day 03: KARGIL - LEH

Take breakfast at the hotel. Drive towards Leh en route visiting Mulbek, Giant Living Sculpture on Rock Mountain, and Moon Landscape. On arrival in Leh, check in to the hotel. Evening Explore most interesting local market. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

DAY 04: LEH LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Later Indus valley monasteries tours to famous monasteries of the region like Shey Palace, Hemis Monastery and Thiksey Monastery. Later in the evening drive back to the hotel. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

DAY 05: LEH – KHARDUNGLA - LEH

Take breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Khardungla Pass, the highest motorable pass in the world. On time return to hotel. In the afternoon explore local bazaars in the evening. Dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 06: LEH – PANGONG LAKE - LEH

Have your breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy full day excursion to the beautiful Pangong Lake, located on the Indo-China Border, en route crossing the Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft.). After sightseeing around the lake, drive back to Leh reaching in the late afternoon / evening. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

DAY 07: LEH AIRPORT DROP

Early in the morning transfer you to the Leh Airport where you will board flight back for your respective destination.
