Sangla and Spiti Valley:-

Recently opened to tourists, Spiti could be called “Little Tibet” because it has almost the same terrain, vegetation and climate. It is also called “Middle Country” as it lies between Tibet ,Ladakh ,Lahoul and Hindu country of Kulu- Manali. The beautiful Valleys and high plateaus of Spiti offer very interesting biking with stupendous views of high snow covered mountains and glittering glaciers. There are many important Gompas in the valley like Ki , Thagyud ,Kungri ,Dhankar and Tabo which celebrated its millennium recently which was presided over by his Holiness Dalai Lama Location Chart.

DAY 01: DELHI-SHIMLA

 Pick up from the international airport, After that drive to Shimla by cab/Coach through enchanting hills and breathtaking roadside views. Reach in Shimla in the evening time. On arrival in Shimla Check in to the hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel in Shimla, height of 2206 Mts. has the door of the road of Kinnaur and Spiti.(route towards close Tibet).

DAY 02: SHIMLA SIGHTSEEING

Morning after breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Shimla. Evening back to the hotel .Ridge- This ridge of Shimla gives a spectacular sight of the ice-covered mountain peaks.Mall- The mall is an ideal spot for shopping and tourists have a major attraction. Jakhoo temple, The temple being situated at the highest peak of Shimla gives a stunning view of the Shimla town State museum- This is the abode to excellent paintings, handicrafts, textiles and stone carvings of Himachal Pradesh. Chadwick fall- The sight of the amazing waterfall of Chadwick being surrounded by thick forests and bushes from all around is very exciting.

DAY 03: SHIMLA- NARKANDA

 After breakfast start biking to Narkanda 65 kms. From Shimla, Narkanda is  famous for beautiful undulating mountains, apple orchards & dense forests , Hatu Peak (3300m). Overnight in Hotel / Guest House.

DAY 04: NARKANDA-SARAHAN

 Bike along the Sutlej River from Narkanda enroute visiting Sun temple at Nirath and Rampur. it is level road till Rampur, continue onto Sarahan  ( 90 kms.)– summer capital of Rampur Busheher. The Bhimakali Temple is a big attraction; you can also get magnificent views of the ShirKhand peaks. This temple is about 1500 years old. Overnight stay in Hotel / Guest House.

DAY 05: SARHAN– KALPA

 Narkanda it is in a rapid descent by bike (51 kms). or bus good tar road about 1000 meters down to the river Sutlej, in the Tibet at the holy Mount Kailash rises. The road now leads the River. The landscape becomes more rugged and the roads wind their way along the narrowing valley. Kalpa is traveler’s paradise, lofty snow peaks, deep gorges, lush green valleys, fast flowing rivers, enchanting mountain, lakes, flower, bedecked meadows, beautiful temples & monasteries in time. It’s height is 10,900 ft. Here you will also enjoy view of Kinner Kailash . Over Night in Hotel / Guest House.

DAY 06: KALPA INN

  Morning after breakfast sightseeing of Kalpa, You can enjoy the panoramic view of Indian Mount Kalash, & old monasteries of Recogpeo. Recongpio is the head quarter of Kinnur Valley, Which is very close to the Tibet Border ,Now China. Today  we have apply for your inner line permit from the Magistrate in Recongpio. So rest day in needed. After back to Kalpa for Over Night in Hotel / Guest House.

DAY 07: KALPA-POH, (70 km bike, 1200hm)

 Biking Kalpa to Poh Village.70 Kmts.Slowly the Hinduism mixed with Buddhism. Just as the Religion is slowly changing, so does the landscape. It is barren. The summer monsoon reaches here not more often. Time and again we marvel at the small villages such as Morang or , the clinging to the rock.  Overnight in small  Guest House.

DAY 08: POH –NAKO

 Poh Village to Nako biking 34 kmts. (3640 mts).Down after the morning downhill to the main road, we follow the Sutlej river. The confluence of the Sutlej and the Spiti river is particularly impressive. Over a bridge, we reach the other side of the Sutlej and now follow the Spiti river. The road is a masterpiece was struck from the rock. In it goes up into the hairpin curves Nako village. We stay at the courtyard of the Buddhist monastery of Nako at 3640m. Nako is the last village from the chin Auer district. Overnight in a Guest House/hotel.

DAY 09: NAKO –TABO

 Nako to Tabo Biking 45 kmts. Enter Spiti Valley. After we reached a small hill of 3800m, leads a wonderful downhill through impressive rock formations to the Sumdo Spiti River. We must show our Spiti permit, because the border to Tibet only about 20 km away, and for tourists and Indians closedwithout a special permit. We reach the small “city” Tabo at 3050 meters above sea level, which is surrounded by high mountains. A cultural highlight is waiting for us today: The temple complex of Tabo in one of the most important Tibetan Buddhist Monasteries around the world and home to important art treasures.Outside of Tibet has been significant manuscripts and colorful religious scroll paintings called Thankas, before the Chinese Cultural Revolution are brought to safety. With the many great craftsmanship-made statues of Buddha and his bodhisattvas have our eyes light up and show us the Uniqueness of this place. Overnight in Hotel/Guest House.

DAY 10: TABO-KAZA

 Tabo to Kaza via Danker gompa.Trails from Kaza (bike 75 km, 1300 hm).The erosion track of the Sutlej has given us a long way, but before we reach the opening of the valley, we have yet to a steep slope area landslides drive. In heavy rains, which are very rare but in the arid Spiritual, it can happen that the Spiti river sections of the road along with it. We are impressed as is now the valley suddenly opens and our views of the may be directed ocher mountainsides and the overlying white snow peaks can admire. An increase of 9 km takes us high on a small road to Dankar to 3890 m. The Dankar- Monastery “stuck” on an overhang in dizzying heights. A Monk takes us through the monastery. After lunch, we drive on a small panoramic single trail on to Lalung and on a brilliant downhill back to the main road down to where it Lingti then goes to the district capital of Kaza to around 3600m. Stay in Hotel/Guest  House.

DAY 11: KAZA-SIGHTSEEING

 Rest day or biking tour (closed or bike 40km, 1000 hm) We have the tremendous natural effect on us. The neighborhood Kaza offers majestic views. Anyone who wants to can a cozy Insert days or go on a bike tour. It takes us on a narrow path directly up from Kaza to Hikkim. A dream Round trip high above the main valley. We take a look at the wonderfully snowy Himalayan mountains. After strolling the way back We in the streets and enjoy a Kazas in the German Bakery few treats and watch the hustle and bustle in the narrow to streets. Kaza for Overnight.Hotel/Guest House.

DAY 12: KAZA –BATAL

 Biking long day Kaza to Batal(88 km bike, 1400hm).Over Kumzumla pass. The width of the valley is impressive, the green of the barley – and Potato fields is a strong contrast to the brown tones of the mountain slopes. The erosion has created spectacular formations. In a light up and down along a narrow tarred road LOSSARY. It is the Last typical Buddhist villages. Leads us away from here a small rough road to higher and higher Kunzum La Pass at 4500 m.Well theLandscape is soothing and makes us the increasingly thin air forgotten. The feeling of happiness when catching sight of the prayer flags on the La Kunzum is indescribable, as is the view of the glaciated 7000. The tired legs will be forgotten in the anticipation of a impressive downhill. The road needs our full attention. One can hardly imagine how the buses and trucks here canhappen. Since Spiti is a very remote area, there are hardly any traffic. An idyllic camp awaits us in Batal 4050 m. Overnight in camp.

DAY 13: BATAL- GRAMPHO

 Biking Batal to Grampho (70km bike, 1050 hm).Days welcome to the Lahaul Valley. Now we follow the valley of the Chandra river. It flows through the Lahaul- Valley, mostly straight, and then he is from deep rock arms forced to make a detour. We follow the flow of water, even in fast-paced ride down, then back to a power-consuming Walk around a rocky outcrop forced. The road looks more like a creek bed. Time and again we must Shoes off for spectacular river crossings. The Eye enjoyed by the sparseness Spiti in the lush green meadows and in Background, the impressive glaciers. In Chattru we enjoy a fine lunch, as always by our trekking crew is prepared. Shortly before the camp we drive to the main route Manali one. We will cam at Grampho Over Night in Camp.

DAY 14: GRAMPHO-ROHTANG-MANALI

 It is a dirt road to Gramphu that joins the main highway of Manali – Leh. From Gramphu an uphill ride to the Rohtang Pass (3980 m). Rohtang is the gateway between Lahaul/ Spiti and Kullu. From Rohtang descent by a snake-curved road through pastures of wild flowers to Manali. Arrival Manali by late evening. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 15: MANALI-SIGHTSEEING

 Today after breakfast , pack your bikes after proceed for half day  sightseeing of Manali, Visit Vishist Hot Spring, Hadamba Tibetan Monastery after explore mall road & Shopping. Evening free to Pack the Cycles . Over Night in Hotel.

DAY 16: MANALI- CHANDIGARH

 Morning after breakfast  check out from the hotel and drive to  Chandigarh. Chandigarh is the 1st planned modern city of India designed by the French architect Le Corbusier. The city was named after the mother goddess of power, Chandi, whose temple Chandimandu is a feature of the new city . On arrival Check in hotel after visit Sukhna lake, Rock Garden, Rose Garden etc. Evening free for shopping and own activities. O/N Hotel.

DAY 18: CHANDIGARH-DELHI-OUT

 Early morning after breakfast Explore Chandigarh after transfer straightway to the railway station / Airport to board the flight for home country. In this way your visit to one of the paradise on earth located amidst the lofty Himalayas ends offering your glorious memories to cherish for lifetime.
