Kashmir, a heaven on Earth, is located in the north-western region of the Indian Subcontinent. With abundant natural beauty, the destination until the mid 19th century was geographically denoted as the valley nestled between the Great Himalayas and the Pir Panjal mountain range. However, at present Kashmir denotes a much larger area that includes the Indian administered state of Jammu and Kashmir. The town is dominated by the nine-storey Namgyal Palace built by King Singge Namgyal in the grand tradition of Tibetan architecture. Above the palace, on the Namgyal Tsemo, are the ruins of a fort, the earliest royal residence. In the historic bazaar, the main sites to visit are the Jo-khang, a newly built Buddhist temple, and the imposing historic mosque founded in the late 17th century. A stroll along the main bazaar, observing the varied crowd and looking into the curio shops is an engaging experience. When tired of strolling, one can step into any of several restaurants and cafes, some of them located in gardens or on the sidewalks which serve local, Tibetan, Indian and Continental cuisine. A visit to the Shanti Stupa is a must as it offers the best view of the Leh city. Manali is the Northern end of the Kullu Valley and is the main resort in the area. It is beautifully situated and there are many pleasant walks around the town. Surrounded by towering peaks at arm length, Manali’s major asset is its proximity to the snow line, never more than few hours’ drive from the town nestling at comfortable 2050 meters. It is the centre of the flourishing orchard industry a popular honeymoon destination and trailhead for numerous treks.

DAY 01: ARRIVE-SRINAGAR

 On arrival at Srinagar Airport, transfer to  Hotel.  After Sightseeing of Srinagar/day at leisure/ relax to gear up for the long trip. Overnight at Srinagar. Overnight stay at Hotel in Srinagar.

DAY 02: SRINAGAR-PAHALGAM-SRINAGAR (98 x 2 Kms.

After breakfast transfer from Srinagar to Pahalgam.  Pahalgam (2133 mts) also known as ‘The valley of Shepherds or Trekker’s Paradise.  Pahalgam is the most famous place for Indian Film Industry. On the way visit Awantipura ruins, Saffron fields One of the most beautiful places on earth, the town of Pahalgam offers breath-taking views. One can just enjoy the town of Pahalgam trek to some of the most beautiful places on earth. One can trek to Lidderwat, Kolohoi Glacier or to Sonamarg. Pahalgam is also the entry point for the famous Amarnath Cave, a holy site for Hindus. After Sightseeing Proceed for Srinagar. Over Night in Hotel.

DAY 03: SRINAGAR-GULMARG-SRINAGAR (57 x 2 Kms.)

After breakfast leave for full day excursion to Gulmarg. Gulmarg (8700 ft i.e. 2652 mts), known as ‘Meadow of flowers for. Discovered by the Kashmiri romantic poet in the 16th century who was inspired with its grassy slopes covered with wild flowers. It is one of the India’s premier Hill resorts. Gulmarg today is not merely a mountain resort of exceptional beauty – It also turns into India’s premier Ski resort in winter. The Gondola Cable Car offers rides to the upland meadows of Kongdori and beyond to the top of Apharwat range to a height of 14000 ft for viewing the Himalayan Peaks in summer and for downhill skiing in winter. After drive back to Srinagar. Explorew Dal Lake, Shikara Ride. Overnight stay at House Boat in Srinagar.

DAY 04: SRINAGAR-KIRGAL (213 Kms.)

Srinagar to Kargil via Sonmarg, short excursion to Hunderman village- After breakfast, proceed to Kargil. Enroute you will cross the mystic meadows of Sonmarg, tortuous Zojila followed by Drass Memorial, before you finally arrive at Kargil-the gateway to Ladakh. Check in to your hotel. Â After some rest, by 4 pm, proceed to Hunderman village (this excursion shall be done only if time permits) – It was under Pakistani occupation until 1971 when India won it back during the Indo-Pak war. The village is home to 1000 year old structures currently being researched by ASI(Archaeological Survey of India. Overnight at Kargil.

DAY 05: KIRGAL-LEH-( 213 kms)

Kargil to Leh- After Breakfast, check out from Hotel & proceed to Leh enroute visiting 30ft Long Maitreya Buddha, later visit Lamayuru, Likir & Alchi Monastery, followed by Magnetic Hill & Gurudwara Sri Pathar Sahib & Hall of fame. Enroute also check the confluence of Indus & Zanskar river called Sangam by locals. Overnight at Leh.

DAY 06: LEH-NUBRA (153 Kms.)

Leh to Nubra- After Breakfast, move towards Highest Motorable Road of The World, KhardungLa Pass. Have a cup of Tea there, get yourself clicked with the Khardungla Signboard by BRO & proceed towards Nubra valley visiting Deskit Monastery enroute. Check-in at Camps, freshen up & later you can have a Double Hump Bactarian Camel ride. Don’t forget to click this unique mammal, found in cold Desert. It was once used to carry the trade material on silk route to Central Asia. Overnight at Nubra Camps.

DAY 07: NUBRA-LEH (153 Kms.)

Nubra to Leh, enroute Sumoor- After Breakfast, check out from the camps & visit Deskit Monastery, Hot Water Springs at Panamik via confluence of Shyok & Nubra River across Sumoor. Return to Leh by Evening. Overnight at Leh. Overnight stay in Hotel.

DAY 08: LEH-PANGONG-LEH (174 x2 Kms.

Leh to Pangong- After Breakfast, check out from Leh & visit Shey and Thiksey monasteries at Leh. Later proceed for one of the most beautiful & scenic, Salt water Pangong Lake at Spangmik via Changla Pass (17350 ft). Various Bollywood movies have been shot at this lake. One-Third of this lake is controlled by India & rest of the two-third lies under Chinese province. Enjoy the bonfire in evening with your co-travelers turned friends. After drive back to leh Over Night in Hotel.

DAY 09: LEH-JISPA (339 Kms)

 After Breakfast at Hotel, you are advised to depart by 8:00 am, in order to reach Jispa in due time. Enroute you will come across Upshi, Tanglangla, Moore Plains, Sarchu, Baralacha-la, before finally arriving at Jispa. This route is most loved by shutterbug community, for the amazing snow cladded landscapes & tortuous roads one come across. Overnight at Jispa.

DAY 10: JISPA-MANALI (138 Kms.

 Jispa to Manali- After early Breakfast, start your journey to Manali via Keylong, (the administrative centre of Lahaul & Spiti district) & snowbedded Rohtang La . Overnight at Manali. Overnight stay in Hotel.

DAY 11: MANALI HALF DAY TOUR

  Manali half day city tour, departure for Delhi- After early Breakfast, proceed for Manali Local sightseeing visiting Hadimba Temple, Vashisht & Solang Valley. Evening Free ,Over Night in Hotel.

DAY 12: MANALI-CHANDIGARH ( 294 Kms)

 After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to  Chandigarh. Chandigarh is the 1st planned modern city of India designed by the French architect Le Corbusier. The city was named after the mother goddess of power, Chandi, whose temple Chandimandu is a feature of the new city . On arrival Check in hotel after visit Sukhna lake, Rock Garden, Rose Garden etc. Evening free for shopping and own activities. O/N Hotel.

DAY 13: CHANDIGARH-DELHI (246 Kms.)

Early morning after breakfast long day drive from  Chandigarh  to Delhi,  on arrival transfer straightway to the railway station/Airport.
