TRANS HIMALAYAN BIKING

One of the biggest challenges for all ambitious mountain biker Inside this breathtaking Bike Tour in the Himalayas – Biking on the highest passes of the Earth in the fairytale Ladakh, also by many small Tibet mentioned. The well 600 km long journey through the chain of the Himalayas is a unforgettable experience. Where in earlier weeks of marches, caravans moving between India and Central Asia, we are today with the mountain bike on an adventurous road route. This is a sporting challenge us to offer scenic and culturally much: Hindu temples in alpine Forests, green, populated by nomadic mountain pastures, colorful canyons bizarre squeeze through, wild rivers, huge salt lakes and the Buddhist Monastery fortresses in the green Indus Valley. The ultimate biking adventure on the roof of the World! For the grand finale of the trip, we enjoy a night in Agra at the World Heritage Site to the “Taj Mahal”!

DAY 01: ARRIVE DELHI- DRIVE NALAGARH

 On arrival  in Delhi meet our representative in the international airport , Drive Nalagarh, on arrival transfer to the hotel. Evening Free .Over Night in Hotel.

DAY 02: NALAGARH-MANALI

 This morning after breakfast drive to Manali  via Kullu. Manali, located at the northern end of Kullu Valley at 1830 m is located, is the starting point of our Himalayan crossing. The city is a popular spa town in western India as well as tourists. On arrival check in hotel, after explore market & Fix the bikes. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 03: KOKE TESTING & SIGHTSEEING MANALI

 On our first short bike Acclimatization near Manali, we visit the temple of the goddess and the hot Hadimba Sources of sulfate Vaishisht by bikes. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 04: BIKING MANALI-MARHI.40.Kms.

 Today we leave Manali towards Rothang Pass This first short Stage takes you through beautiful forests and past the last major Kothi locality. Our camp, we create high above the valley at about 3000 meters above sea level. Overnight in the tent at about 3220 m.

DAY 05: BIKING MARHI-SISSU.55Kms.

 The first major crossing pass today on the program: numerous switchbacks, the road winds up through green pastures Rothang to pass at 3985 m From the pass we have an unforgettable View. We expect the first 1,000 meters Departure to the village Sissu. Overnight in the tent at about 3000 m.

DAY 06: BIKING SISSU-JESPA.60Kms.

 In the area around Keylong, the former capital of Lahaul, are is equal to four Buddhist monasteries. Gradually giving way to the last green of the barren rocky landscape and in the distance we see the first imposing Snow Mountains. Overnight in the tent at about 3300 m.

DAY 07: BIKING JESPA-ZING ZING BAR.40Kms.

 Past Darcha, through a fascinating river, we reach Patseo. Next it goes up towards Baralacha Pass This brief Stage gives us the opportunity to acclimatize ourselves even better. For the first time .We stay at over 4,000 meters above sea level. Overnight in the tent at about 4260 m.

DAY 08: BIKING ZING ZING BAR- BRANDHI NALHA. 70 kms.

 Today we expect 950 meters ascent to 4880 m high Baralacha Pass, the second  high pass on this very demanding Tour. It is ideal as an introduction to the still forthcoming passes us to over 5000 m up lead. Overnight in the tent at about 4200 m.

DAY 09: BIKING BRANDHI NALHA-PANG.60Kms.

 About two more high passes leading today’s diverse Section: Niklila Pass 5020 m and Lachulung La Pass 5065 m After a demanding stage we camp at 4500 m at Pang. Overnight in the tent at about 4600 m.

DAY 10: BIKING PANG-TSOKAR.55Kms.

 A leisurely drive along the Moray level, a high desert waterless, gives us the simple life of Changpa-nomads, here their Yaks , goats and sheep graze. Another highlight is the excursion Tsokar the city, through its mineral wealth almost frozen salt lake an enchanting natural wonders. Overnight in the tent at about 4600 m.

DAY 11: BIKING TSOKAR-LATO. 75Kms.

 Only the Taglang La pass 5370 m, separates us from the Indus Valley. On countless bends, but not too steep winds, the historical route high on the second highest navigable by motor vehicle pass the  World. A breathtaking downhill after Gya makes us the hardships of last days forgotten. Overnight in the tent at about 4100 m.

DAY 12: BIKING LATO-LEH.75Kms.

 By Gya Gorge we reach the fertile, green Indus valley. To the slopes we can always discover Buddhist monasteries. On a quiet ride, we reach our journey’s end in Leh. But the adventure is for us is far from over. Overnight at the hotel at about 3500 m,).

DAY 13: BIKING LEH-KHARDUNGLA-LEH.80Kms.

 Probably the greatest challenge of our Himalayan Bike Tour is the 38 km long climb to the highest navigable by motor vehicle, m pass in the world, the Kardung La Pass at 5606 The view takes from the Chinese border to the Karakoram mountain range in the west. Overnight at the hotel at about 3500 m.

DAY 14 :LEH-SIGHTSEEING

Explore Leh and the surrounding area. We visit a Morning service to visit the Thiksey Monastery, the palace in Leh and the nearby Shanti Stupa. On the way we come in many impressive Monasteries over. Nights in a hotel at about 3500 m.

DAY 15 :FLY LEH-DELHI DRIVE AGRA

 Today we fly from Leh to Delhi. We then drive  to Agra to the Taj Mahal. Monument of Love Mughal emperor Shah Jahan made him the Memory of his deceased main wife in 1631 Mumtaz Mahal (Build Arjumand Bano Begum). Were involved over 20,000 craftsmen from all over South and Central Asia and various architects. It is a harmonious Masterpiece of Indo-Islamic architecture. Overnight at hotel in Agra.

DAY 16: SIGHTSEEING AGRA-DELHI

 In the morning we visit the visit Agra fort. Then next stop is situated 40 km south-west of Agra, the former Capital (1571-1585) of the Mughal Empire, to Fatehpur Sikri. Then drive back to Delhi. On arrival enjoy the last Dinner, then proceed for airport to board the flight for your country.
